Intensive Short Course Format

Throughout the Prophet’s sallallahu alaihi wa sallam stay in Medina, messengers from numerous tribes in Arabia used to come to Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam in order to learn about the religion. They would stay for a few days and then leave to go back to their people after having had a short but tremendously beneficial intensive learning experience from the Prophetic school in Medina.

AlKauthar believes that given the frantic lifestyle in the West, the serious lack of learned teachers and the great distances in which we live, this same methodology can be applied in short intensive single weekend courses to successfully benefit the masses. The success of such a system has already been proven around the world and so we are confident of its success in our institute as well, insha Allah.

Extensive Student Resources

At the beginning of each course, students are presented with a portfolio covering all course materials, exercises, additional reading materials and references to further reading.

Students are also able to access the online student centre, an online portal for students to complete additional exercises, take multiple choice quizzes, perform assessments or ask questions to various instructors on different topics via our forums.

AlKauthar Institute believes that a diverse student base gives rise to a greater sense of brother and sisterhood. At the same time, this would increase the networking opportunities of Muslims from varying communities and lead to a richer learning experience.

AlKauthar continually maintains contact with Islamic organizations and teachers around the globe. We plan to have a dedicated team that constantly searches and captures all authentic educational materials available via print, audio, DVD or internet ensuring that students have access to the latest information. This allows any new developments and trends in Muslim affairs or teaching methodologies to be identified and accordingly channelled to students studying that particular field. With its international networks, AlKauthar Institute can invite international instructors to deliver short courses to benefit the Muslims in their own localities around the world.

Student Focused

AlKauthar Institute values each and every student that wishes to undertake the path of knowledge with us. We take a proactive approach in addressing any issues students may have in attending our courses or payment of their fees. Examples of this include the way we have structured the timings of our courses, to our provision of the online student facility. From a payment perspective, we provide options for genuinely  financially disadvantaged students by offering easy payment options and limited scholarships when available. Our purpose is to create ease for students wishing to attend. We are also working with various organisations to provide discounts for our students on items such as books, Islamic media and other resources which will assist the student in their academic pursuits.

We also aim to have dedicated student advisors whom students can approach confidentially to discuss and help resolve any issues or problems related to their studies at AlKauthar. At AlKauthar, we recognize the vital need to continually innovate and help enrich the learning experience of students whilst they are undertaking their studies.
