DD Audio is introducing our newest set of in ear monitors, the DXB-02. The 02 version features a balanced armature design with improved bandwidth, sensitivity and transient response.

DD features Knowles balanced armatures, a leader in micro-transducer design for over 50 years, these high end drivers have less moving mass and higher motor strength compared to dynamic driver designs and is the current state-of-the-art in micro-transducers. The higher sensitivity pays huge dividends in battery life of mobile devices. The DXB-02 earbuDDs can deliver higher volume levels with much less battery sapping current than conventional dynamic drivers. The higher SPL capability coupled with cleaner, crisper more natural sound output is why balanced armature drivers are used exclusively for professional applications.

DBX-02 earbuDDs are tuned to be true to the source material, to deliver accurate response from 20Hz to 25kHz. Low frequencies are carried through with defined precision and mid/high frequencies are crisp and natural. The low frequency does not need to be artificially boosted to cover up lack of true low end extension. The high sensitivity and headroom allows the user to equalize to personal taste without overloading the transducers.

DXB-02 housings are ergonomically designed to seal tight into the ear canal while the body rests in the cradle of the outer ear. The cradle fit design coupled with the extreme light weight of the balanced armature drivers makes the DXB-02s perfect for active lifestyle individuals. The DD-DXB-02 in-ear monitors come with 3 sets of soft rubber eartips, 1 set of memory foam eartips and a compact zipper case for protected portability and does have a mic for talking when plugged into your phone.
