It is with great pleasure that we announce this first and new hospitality investment, appropriately named Accra Hospitality Investment Fund.

As the name suggests it is an investment directly aimed at capitalising on the growth opportunities of the hospitality industry in Accra, Ghana.

This page is intended to provide an overview of our plan and general information on the investment project. Also, there is a link of a condensed report prepared by an independent firm of hospitality consultants highlighting the growing opportunities of the hotel industry in Accra.

There is no doubt that there are inherent risks with any investment and real estate is by no means an exception. POPULATION

Ghana has a population of over 25 million of which the majority are between 15 and 64 years old. The capital city of Accra has 2.3 million inhabitants, while 1.8 million people live in Kumasi, the capital of Ashanti.

POLITICS AND GOVERNANCE

In 1957 Ghana became the first sub-Saharan country in colonial Africa to gain independence from Britain. Following a long series of coups, Lt Jerry Rawlings took power in 1981 and banned political parties. Rawlings restored multiparty politics in the early 1990s. Ghana has a constitutional democracy.

ECONOMY

Ghana's economy has been strengthened by 25 years of relatively sound management, a competitive business environment, and sustained reductions in poverty levels. Ghana is well endowed with natural resources and agriculture accounts for roughly one-quarter of GDP. Gold and cocoa are major sources of foreign exchange. Oil at Ghana's offshore Jubilee field began in December 2010 and is expected to boost economic growth.

The hotel will be home to 100 luxury apartments each offering the highest standard of hotel accommodation. Each apartment is completely self-contained, with its own quality fitted kitchen and designer en-suite shower room offering residents much sought-after privacy and the feeling of home away from home.
